National Centre for Suicide Prevention Education and Training CIC

The National Centre for Suicide Prevention Education and Training (NCSPET) was formed in 2011 and is the UK’s leading international provider of assured suicide prevention education and training programmes known as Suicide First Aid® (SFA).

NCSPET describe its core purpose as:

We strive to contribute to reducing suicides by empowering individuals, workplaces and communities, equipping people with knowledge, skills and confidence, and teaching them how to have a caring conversation that could help save a life.

We are the provider of Suicide First Aid® education programmes, defined as the ‘gold standard in suicide prevention education’.

Our executive team and associate rutors are all accomplished leaders in their chosen sectors and amongst some of the most experienced practitioners in the world.

We are joining the Zero Suicide Alliance (ZSA) to enhance our organisation's capacity to address and prevent suicide within our communities.

This membership will enable us to raise awareness about our programmes and contributing in reducing the stigma surrounding mental health.

Additionally, collaborating with ZSA will facilitate sharing best practices and leveraging collective expertise with other dedicated organisations, ultimately strengthening our impact on suicide prevention.
